Watch Out for Heather Morris (aka Brittany S. Pierce)

Kind of makes me want to get extensions and put some red lipstick on.

Is Elton John Gleeful?

Matthew Morrison managed to get Elton John into the recording studio with him, so the next sensible step would be to get the Rocket Man on Glee, right?

"We should find a spot for him to be on the show," Morrison, 32, tells PEOPLE. "That would be awesome. He's a living legend. He just brings such a great energy and a great validity to everything he does."

What sort of role does the actor, who plays Mr. Schuester, see for John?

"He should do something with Jane Lynch," Morrison says, referring to the Golden Globe-winning actress who plays Glee's no-nonsense cheerleading coach, Sue Sylvester. "I think he should maybe play her boyfriend or some kind of love interest for her. I think that would be funny."

Working on his album with new dad John, 63, was what Morrison calls "an out-of-body experience." "I didn't really believe it was actually happening," says the actor. "I actually felt like I was a bad singer because we were singing a couple of his songs, and you're so used to hearing that voice on these songs, and I'm like, 'I don't sound good on these songs.' "

Despite any insecurities on Morrison's part, the musicians' collaborations were hailed a success by John, who has already talked up the duo's time in the studio.

"It was supposed to be a secret that he was going to be on my album, but he's kind of telling everyone," Morrison says with a laugh. "So I guess we can talk about it. He's just the most loving man, and we had the best time. He was so giving and so supportive. We just had a ball."

Fans eager to hear the singers' duets will have to wait until next month's release of Morrison's album. Until then, he plans to play a free show on Jan. 29 – his first live performance in his solo career – at The Grove in L.A., as part of Oscar Mayer's Good Mood Mission.

Glee Goes Gruesome

Costumed and covered in gruesome zombie makeup, the Glee cast is hardly recognizable as they gnash their teeth and perform a jerky dance across a football field for the big Feb. 6 post-Super Bowl extravaganza.

Joined by sexy blue-haired cheerleaders, the group will take on the Michael Jackson's classic "Thriller" video as a mashup with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs's "Heads Will Roll."

The episode, at between $3 and $5 million the most expensive to date, will focus on the growing tension between the Glee club and the football team.

"You can never re-create something as incredible as 'Thriller,' " Lea Michele tells Entertainment Weekly. "We're making it our own."

Anne Hathaway to Guest Star on Glee

Everyone, it seems, wants to be on Glee. And Anne Hathaway soon will be – in an offbeat role she invented for herself.

"We just finalized a deal with Anne tonight to come onto the show," creator Ryan Murphy told PEOPLE on Sunday at the Golden Globe Awards, where Glee was named best comedy or musical for the second straight year.

"She's already created [her role]," Murphy said. "She wants to play the lesbian aunt of Chris Colfer. Because everyone needs a lesbian aunt."

Hathaway, 28, isn't the only star to seek a guest spot on the show. Plenty of others pitched Murphy on Sunday. "They always do," he said. "I can't even think of who. But it's so sweet. I think they support the show because it's about the arts."

Glee outdid itself at the Golden Globes in its sophomore season, as Colfer and Jane Lynch were first-time winners in the supporting actor and actress categories – further sweetening the show's repeat victory as best comedy or musical.

"Whenever you do something twice, it proves that the first time wasn't a fluke," Murphy said. "It means I dug in there and did some good work."

At the Fox afterparty, Murphy still hadn't fully celebrated with the cast, but he could barely contain his pride for what they've accomplished.

"I haven't really seen them yet, because you win and then you're whisked backstage and it's a whirlwind," he said. "But they're all right over there. I'm going to go hug them and kiss them. They're like our children. Look at them! Look at those faces! They are so young. God bless them."

Gywneth is Glee-ful

You can stand under her umbrella, ella, ella. Gwyneth Paltrow is making a guest appearance as a substitute teacher on Glee, and we’ve got the pictures to prove it! The blond actress will belt out a mash-up of “Singing in the Rain” and Rihanna’s mega-hit “Umbrella.” (Um-amazing.) Jane Lynch spoke to People.com about how her character reacts to the new teacher: “It’s friendly—and then, of course, as with all relationships with Sue Sylvester, it turns antagonistic.” Things between Jane and Gwyneth seem perfectly rosy off-screen though: “I did a couple of scenes with Gwyneth. She’s got the goods. She can sing, she can dance. I really was [blown away].” To see Gwyneth strut her stuff, tune in at 8 p.m. ET on Fox on November 16th.

Sue's Getting Hitched!

No stranger to wedding bells herself, Jane Lynch's ever-scheming character on Glee, Sue Sylvester, is going to have a surprise wedding, the Emmy-winner tells PEOPLE – who also reveals some other big moments coming to the show, including guest spots by Gwyneth Paltrow and Carol Burnett.

"Sue gets married – that's all I'm going to tell you," Lynch, who tied the knot with psychologist Laura Embry in June, told PEOPLE at BAFTA/LA's Brittania Awards, where Betty White was honored.

"I probably shouldn't have said anything!," added Lynch, who would only say that the TV wedding will take place within the next three or four episodes – and it won't be a big musical blow-out.

Then there's Paltrow’s guest shot: "I did a couple of scenes with Gwyneth. She's got the goods," says Lynch, 50. "She can sing, she can dance. I really was [blown away]. I saw them doing a mash-up of 'Singin' in the Rain' and 'Umbrella,' and they are singing and dancing their hearts out, and Gwyneth is leading them. She's amazing."

As Lynch explained, "She's a substitute teacher for Will [Matthew Morrison]. Will gets the monkey flu and I expose him to it – I turn a sneezing kid on him so that he gets the monkey flu."

The upshot? "So Gwyneth Paltrow is the substitute, and the kids start to all love her. So there's kind of a rivalry between Schue and Gwyneth's character."

As for Sue's relationship with the new sub, "It's friendly – and then, of course, as with all relationships with Sue Sylvester, it turns antagonistic."

Her relationship with Burnett, when the comedy legend appears on the show, turns musical. Burnett will play Sue's Nazi-hunting mother. Says Lynch, an avid Burnett fan: "We sing '[Why, Oh Why, Did I Ever Leave] Ohio' from Wonderful Town, the 1950s musical."

I Love this Kid!

Chord Overstreet has dived right into making headlines.  Aside from joining the cast of Glee as McKinley High's new quarterback Sam Evans, the actor, 21, has been spotted kissing and holding hands with newly single Rumer Willis.  But there's more to Overstreet than a famous gal pal, shaggy hair and big lips. Here are five things to know about the Nashville-bred blond:

1. His Glee character may be gay.  While Overstreet has been mum on rumors that his character will become Kurt Hummel [played by Chris Colfer]'s new love interest, Jane Lynch may have spilled the beans. "He's tall, boyish, with straight blond hair and big fat, pouty lips," the actress told E! Online, when describing the boy they've cast to play Kurt's beau. As for Overstreet, "They haven't revealed anything about my character in a relationship way [yet]," he told Vanity Fair. "But I think we'll find out soon enough."

2. Chord is Overstreet's birth name, not a stage name.  "I have four sisters and one brother – and I was the third one born," Overstreet explained to Vanity Fair. "There are three notes in a chord, so that's how I got that name. My dad's in the music business, so he gave me a musical name." Chord's dad, Paul Overstreet, is a songwriter who has written for country artists, including Kenny Chesney, The Judds and Randy Travis.

3. He has a Twilight connection.  Overstreet will be on the big-screen alongside stars Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene in 2011's action flick, Warrior, in which the two Twilight siblings will play love interests.

4. He's close pals off-set with his Glee costar Mark Salling.  Overstreet, who frequently Tweets Salling, recently joked to his pal, "I'm flattered I'm the last thing that you think of before you go to bed. Wait!...Does that mean ur dreaming of me??" The musical men also spent a recent weekend together in Vegas, with Willis in tow.

5. He's accepted the fact that his large mouth is the butt of jokes. In Overstreet's first Glee episode, Puck [Mark Salling] says, "Dude, your mouth is huge. How many tennis balls can you fit in there?" Instead of getting offended, Overstreet got a kick out of the script. "I laughed when I read that," Overstreet told Zap2it. "I mean, I always get compliments or comments on my lips because I do have big lips."

Kristen Bell to Appear on Glee?

Playing a former nerd who faces off against her childhood bully in the movie You Again sparked a high school flashback for Kristen Bell. “I was dorky for sure!” the diminutive actress told us of her school days when we saw her at the flick’s L.A. premiere last night. “I was nervous that someone would make me their punching bag.” Bell may be glad her teenage years are behind her, but if her loyal fans have their way she may soon be walking the halls of Glee‘s McKinley High. A Facebook campaign called Kristen Bell Should Guest Star on Glee showcases examples of the actress’ vocal talents in a bid to see her score a role on the Emmy winning series. Turns out, Bell already has an interesting connection to Glee‘s Matthew Morrison. “I actually went to college with Matty and we dated very briefly,” she said. “He’s still one of my closest friends.” Though she’s engaged to Dax Shepard, we could definitely see some onscreen sparks flying if Bell was cast as a love interest for Mr. Schu.

The Glist

This Glist is back and better than ever...last night's episode was epic.

Sue: The two of you are making a mistake, the likes of which have not been seen since the Mexicans sold Manhattan to George Washington for an upskirt photo of Betsy Ross.

Brittany: Coach Beiste didn't touch my boobs. Actually, I wanna touch her boobs.

Mercedes: Is that a men's sweater?
Kurt: Fashion has no gender.

Puck: Dude, your mouth is huge. How many tennis balls can you fit in there?
Sam: I don't know. I've never had balls in my mouth. Have you?

Tina: You ignored me for weeks this summer.
Artie:I was playing a marathon game of Halo, woman.

Artie: They fell in love over the summer, at Asian camp.

Coach Beiste: You're all coffee and no omelet.
Sue: That doesn't make any sense.

Sue: Even if your team has dropped their sequin-covered panties and urinated all over the stage like an elderly Carol Channing, they literally could not have done worse.

Gywneth is Glee-ful

As if I couldn’t be more excited for today’s season premiere of Glee, EOnline.com reports that Gwyneth Paltrow has signed on to guest star in two episodes this season. Paltrow will play Mr. Schuester’s (Matthew Morrison) love interest. “Mr Schuester gets sick, so Gywneth’s character steps in and takes over the glee club,” reports EOnline.com. “The kids love her and Will starts to fall for her…complicating his relationship with Emma (Jayma Mays).” Watch out for her Glee-ful debut sometime in November.

Hit Me baby One More Time

Glee is set to do a Britney Spears-themed episode this fall and although no one knows if Britney is actually making a cameo herself, it looks like Lea Michele will step into Spears’ shoes—literally! Michele was spotted on the set of Glee in L.A. looking like Brit’s doppleganger in a costume from the “Hit Me Baby One More Time” video. And with rumors circulating that Matthew Morrison is going to shave his head a la Britney Spears 2007, I already can’t wait for the episode to air.

Sneak Peak: Mr. Schuester's New Do...

Matthew Morrison, aka Mr. Schuester, will shave his head for the upcoming Britney Spears-themed episode of Glee, sources reveal exclusively to JustJared.com.

“The recreating of Brit shaving her head is going to be epic!” our source adds.

On Monday, Glee creator Ryan Murphy did admit during the TCA press tour, “We’re paying tribute to her in a sort of fun and unexpected way.” And having Schue shave his head like Britney is the perfect way to do it!

“I like Britney,” Matt told E! recently.”I got in trouble earlier for comments I made saying I’m anti-Britney, but I’m not. I think in this episode, they’re going to mirror those comments and I’m going to be very anti-Britney in the episode because I don’t like what she represents. … It’s gonna be a lot of fun and some crazy stuff is gonna happen.” So exciting!

FYI: This pic of Matt is from 2007, so this won’t be the first time he shaves his head!
