Get Excited Muggles!

Optimism, Muggles!

With the final screen installment of the Harry Potter saga set to hit theaters next month, fans of the beloved boy wizard have braced themselves for what seems like the end – or is it?

Author J.K. Rowling launched a website, Pottermore.com, and although it seems promising for Potter fans, the purpose of the project is as mysterious as Voldemort's fate.

"The owls are gathering," reads a statement on a YouTube page linked from the site. "Find out why soon."

A Twitter account for the site also blasts the same message, but a rep for Rowling, 45, was mum about what exactly the author is conjuring.

Rowling's spokesperson told the BBC that the project was not "directly related" to the final film, which arrives in theaters July 15, or a new book. "We are not saying anything more at the moment."

Potter enthusiasts should know by Thursday what the project entails, according to a countdown in the video. For now, all that's available on the site, which was revealed to fans through an online scavenger hunt, is a "coming soon" banner bookmarked by owl graphics.
The trademark for Pottermore was filed in July 2009 – two years after the final book was released – so it seems like Rowling had the idea on the back burner. This begs the question: Are Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint in on it?

10 Points for Kenworthy!

I own the same green REI cooler pictured here with Toby Maguire!

I love it, it keeps stuff cold forver and compresses way down when you're not using it.

10 cool points for Kenworthy for having the same cooler as a celeb (as in 10 points to Gryffindor).

What Is She Wearing?

I think SJP borrowed something from Bellatrix (Black) Lestrange's wardrobe when she attended the movie's NYC premier.

Fun Fact

Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint hit the red carpet in London last night to promote Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1, which opens November 19th. All three adorned their outfits with a poppy pin—Emma affixing hers at the waist of her one-shoulder Vionnet dress—in honor of Remembrance Day, the U.K. and Commonwealth version of Veteran’s Day. While this won’t surprise Canadian, British or Australian readers, Americans who are used to pinning on the American flag may not know the storied history behind the symbol: The red poppy bloomed across Flanders, Belgium, where some of the bloodiest battles of World War I took place. It has since become tradition to wear a red poppy pin today, which marks the official end of the war on November 11th, 1918.

Harry Potter vs. Voldemort Rap

Bahaha!!!

This is an Interesting Look

Emma Watson at a HP promotional even in London.  Everyone's saying she looks sexy and sophisticated...I'm not sure I agree.

Daniel Radcliffe's Harry Potter Momentos

"I got them! I got a pair [of glasses] from the first film and a pair from the last one, so I was really, really pleased. The ones from the first [films] were very tiny."

- Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe, 21, tells ET Canada that since the Potter series has wrapped, he's taking home his character's iconic glasses as a lasting memento.

More HP?

Fans, rejoice – J.K. Rowling offered a bit of hope on Friday that, perhaps, the final Harry Potter story has yet to be told.

"I could definitely write an eighth, ninth, tenth," the celebrated author, 45, told Oprah Winfrey during an interview scheduled to air Friday. "I'm not going to say I won't. I don't think I will … I feel I am done, but you never know."

Exclusive New Harry Potter Pics

As Part 1 begins, Harry (Daniel Radcliffe, pictured), Ron (Rupert Grint), and Hermione (Emma Watson) have left Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and are on the run from Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) and the Death Eaters, who have taken over England's Ministry of Magic.

The trio needs to find and destroy the remaining horcruxes — objects that contain bits of Voldemort's soul — as well as battle dark forces (including the huge snake Nagini) and their own doubts and demons.

''Part 1 is quite vérité, quite real,'' says director David Yates, who also helmed The Order of the Phoenix and The Half-Blood Prince. ''You feel that these three kids are refugees. They're almost homeless, and it feels interesting seeing them removed from the haven of Hogwarts.''

''This film has been hard to make, and I've had some of the most trying moments, both physically and mentally, than ever before,'' Radcliffe says. ''I wasn't entirely thrilled with my performance in Half-Blood — I found it quite same-y, and didn't think there was enough variation in it — so I've worked hard to make sure that if the seventh film comes out and I'm still unhappy with it, I'll know it won't be from lack of trying.''

Robbie Coltrane reprises his role as the hirsute giant Hagrid; here, he and Harry race down Privet Drive.

Rhys Ifans joins the cast as Xenophilius Lovegood, the father of Harry's loony pal Luna. He's the editor of The Quibbler and an expert in fringe magic most wizards don't believe is real — like the mysterious Deathly Hallows.

Voldemort's allies include Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton, third from left); Draco's parents, Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy (Jason Isaacs and Helen McCrory); and his creepy-even-when-silent aunt Bellatrix Lestrange (Helena Bonham Carter).

(smooching, not smushing) Ginny Weasley (Bonnie Wright) and Harry grow closer, even when his destiny threatens to pull them apart.

Harry and Hermione clutch The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore by Rita Skeeter, which reveals the secret past of the late Hogwarts headmaster.

Harry Potter's Mystery Woman Revealed

Daniel Radcliffe has been spotted with this girl quite a bit recently but no one knew who she was...now they do.

The mystery can be put to rest. The unidentified brunette and near-constant companion of Daniel Radcliffe turns out to be the stepdaughter of the producer of the Harry Potter movies.

Olive Uniacke, 19, was unmasked Wednesday in Britain's Daily Mail. She is the daughter of Robie Uniacke, 49, and his second (and former) wife, interior designer Rose. Now divorced, Olive's father has been linked to actress Rosamund Pike, while her mom is now married to Potter producer David Heyman.

The newspaper calls Olive a Moet champagne-drinking host of fabulous house parties (sounds like a girl after my own heart) who also worked in a junior role in the production team of the Potter movie that wrapped earlier this summer.

A colleague is quoted saying, "Olive and Dan have been close for a long time. She was always in and out of his dressing room during filming ,and she has always been really protective over him."
