Photo Dump

Going to learn how to make this adorable hat this winter.

Love the plaid and stripes combo.

Next time I wear a scarf I'm going to tie it like this.

Cute, casual and comfortable looking maternity style.  Is it too early to add flat booties to my Christmas list?

I'd like to start slowly redoing our bedroom.  I can't stand the bright green and yellow damask pattern we have going on right now.  I thought I wanted to go gray and blue, but this has me second guessing that. I do have a weakness for olive green.  I already own that exact lamp, or pretty close to it.

Nursery Inspiration

Love floating shelves with books and toys, and baskets underneath for more toys!

This is artist Michelle Armas' nursery.  The paint color is very unique.  Love the gray crib and artwork above the crib.

More floating shelves and a tassel for the door.

More floating shelves for books and baskets underneath.

Light and airy.

More of the same...

Pretty sure this is a store, but obviously the concept works in a nursery as well.

Oh Baby

I noticed this pic because I have that necklace, but I always wear it long...I never thought to double it up.

Its a gender reveal photo shoot and they did the typical open the box with balloons things, but then all the sudden they had these props to match the color of the gender.  I like the idea of just opening a box of props...you know I love props.

Just thought this was sweet...love the striped blanket/scarf...whatever it is.

Is it bad that when I saw these outfits I secretly wished the also came in adult sizes?

Nursery Inspiration

Me needing a nursery is MUCH, MUCH farther away than my birthday, but being the planner I am I can't help saving inspiration when I come across nurseries I like.  Here is what I like about this one.

The modern crib with other, mostly traditional, furniture.  The gray rocker and ottoman...although I'm not sold on the contrast piping.  Yes it ties all the white together, but it might be a little too matchy matchy.  The garden stool next to the rocker.  While I like the lookf of it, I don't know how practical it would be.  A side table might be better and a floor lamp to give some light to that corner since I hate overhead lighting.  Speaking of overhead lighting, I do like the whimsy this fixture adds to the room but I'm not sure I'd use the same thing...maybe just something more interesting that the builder specials that are normally in bedrooms.  The dresser, although I think I'd like dark wood instead a. so it wouldn't be so matchy and b. so it could be used later in a bedroom.  I like the gray and the white and don't think navy is a bad additiona to the color scheme, but I doubt I'll have peach in my nursery since its one of my least favorite colors nor will I have wall paper/and accent wall.  I'm strongly against accent walls and usually only like wall paper in small bathrooms...even then you have to be careful of the paper you choose.

Nursery Inspiration

I've been finding so much good stuff to share and I'm trying to hold back rather than post it all at one time, but I'm really dying to share this even though I personally will have no use for it for quite some time...

Love the idea of using real twigs for a mobile.  I wonder if there is a patter for the birds out there so you could make them yourself and select fun fabrics?

This chair kills me.  I want it.  I could put it in a living room, or a bedroom or pretty much anywhere for now and then move it to the nursery when the time comes right?  I love the idea of a traditional rocking chair with such a cool fabric.  We have an old rocking chair that belonged to my grandmother...it needs to be repaired from my parent's dog chewing on it (bad Tilly) but now I totally want to steal it from my mom and get it refinished.  Mom readers (that means you Hardee)...would you regret not having a glider/ottoman if you could have something as cool as this instead?

Buying for Baby Belknap

I wanted to make sure it was ok for me to blog about Baby Belknap, but now that I have the go ahead I can share a few things I've been saving.

I hate to ruin surprises, but I'm pretty sure I absolutely must buy this portable high chair for Baby Beklnap.

These moustache pacifiers are a must too.

Cute Nursery Prints

I am 99% sure my firstborn son will be named Noah.  Obviously my nursery would have to have a Noah's Arc theme and these would be the perfect addition to the room's decor.

I'm sharing the wealth posting where you can purchase the prints (here) but know that if you steal my baby name I will cut you.
