Hair and Beauty Inspiration

Isn't her makeup pretty, but also very natural looking?  I want to learn how to make my eyes look like that!

Hair inspiration.  Long layers and wavy.

Style and Beauty Inspiration

Love the idea of a basic sweatshirt pair with a casual skirt.  I found a neon coral sweatshirt at Gap the other day that's broken in and super soft.  I'm obsessed.

How beautiful is this hair and makeup.  Must. Learn. Liquid liner.

I pretty much already have all of this but I still love the look.

White tee. Scarf. Sunnies. Beachy waves. Chunky gold cuff...need one of those!

In the Navy!

Now that it feels like fall here in BMT I've gone ahead and switched over to my fall polish colors.  I have Oxblood on my toes because that color seems to be the rage right now, but I'm tempted to trade my gray polish in for Navy this year.  Alex will prob still think it a strange color for toenail polish, but I doubt he'll give me quite as much grief about it!

Hair and Beauty Inspiration

I'm still trying to master curls like these pictures that look natural and not like I used a curling or flat iron to get them.

I'm not bold enough to do a red lip, but if I were I'd do it like the picture above with pretty blush and lined eyed.

I've been tempted to start highlighting my hair again and an ombre look like this appeals to me because it seems like it would be a lot lower maintenance that regular highlights.

Inspiration

So yesterday was the first time in over a month that I was actually able to log into Pinterest from my computer.  I had to create a new account and repin all 628 of my pins...well actually only 526 made the cut but still, it was quite a bit of work.  Sorry if I blew up your Pinterest feed yesterday!

Here are a few pics I came across this morning that really inspired me.  They're not going on Pinterest, I saved them for you...my lucky readers!

Even though the whole colored jeans trend is prob about over, this makes me want to get a pair of green jeans!

Dying for neon nails now...I think I'm done with super dark colors for a little while!

Polka dots and Madewell.  Yes!

Nude Nails?

I've always been one to get super bright colors whenever I get a pedicure, but I'm thinking about going nude for Brooke's wedding this weekend.

Fab Find Friday

I get daily emails from a website called Refinery 29...it has all kinds of fashion and beauty articles that just take a quick minute to click through.  This week they had an article on drug store beauty products that are just as good as the expensive stuff you'd find at places like Sephora which is great because I'm in desperate need of some new make up.  Here are the things from the article I was most excited about...I'll probably go pick them up on my lunch break!

These four-in-one eyeshadow palettes prove that high-quality shadows don't have to be high-priced. Plus, Kashuk's metallic shades go on shimmery, instead of overly glittery or sparkly, making them super versatile and wearable for all occasions.

Sonia Kashuk Eye Quads, $12.99, available at Target.

It's true—great brushes mean great makeup application. But a pro set can bust your budget. So, if you're looking for the basic necessities, go for EcoTools: a large powder brush, an eyeshadow brush, a brush for smudging and blending, and a fluffy kabuki for blush or bronzer. The brand's cruelty-free bristles are made of super-soft synthetic taklon and the brushes are crafted out of recycled aluminum and bamboo handles.

EcoTools Makeup Brushes, $3.99-$12.49 for a set, available at Walgreens.

With super-powered frizz-taming properties, this treatment also brings life back to damaged hair, boosts shine, and its price-tag won't break the bank.

Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Penetrating Oil, $7.99, available at Ulta.
