Love the dark wall (but I would do it all or nothing, I'm not a fan of accent walls...and I would do black/dark blue paint, not chalkboard paint), warm wood dresser, modern looking crib, the basket under the chair and the side table.

 

This makes me really want a dark blue china cabinet...I could do without the antlers even though I know they're kind of in right not and even though I love brass I'd trade the tree pot for something else (basket or galvanized steel maybe).

 

What a cozy fireplace, I would love to sit and read here.

 

Cute for a teen.  Like the mix of patterns and think you could pick some more sophisticated patterns to recreate an adult version.

Thinking about tying t-shirts in knots rather than tucking them into skirts this summer.

 

I think I need to get a pair of leopard flats.  They are a total neutral.

 

Recreating this outfit as soon as its acceptable to wear white pants again.

Love this dark distressed dresser.  I might have hunt an old dresser down at one of the local antique stores in town and take my Annie Sloan chalk paint to it to recreate the look!

Love this simple necklace.

 

Think I'm going to make some of these filled with rice to use as hand warmers for all my loves.  I bought everything to do it will last year and never got around to actually doing it.

 

Loved this color combo.  I took a pic of a page in a magazine and the colors didn't turn out very true, but its neon pink and turquoise.

Salt dough letter ornaments.  Saved this to do this year and never got around to it...maybe next year.

 

Love the idea of topping a winter cake with a little bit of greenery.  Sounds like the perf excuse to bake a cake this weekend...

Love the spotted chair, but peach is by far my least fave color so I'd have to find a different accent pillow.

Here are a few Christmas inspiration pictures I've saved from Pinterest....

 

 

Is it just me or is plaid Christmas décor really in right now?  That is a trend I can really get on board with...starting with these stockings.

 

A friend of mine gave me a cute little chalkboard last year and I think I'm going to put this one it.  I love mistletoe, but will substitute the real thing or a bad fake for this.

 

So, in BMT they do a Christmas parade every year.  The first part of the parade is a dog parade.  After the show was over it came out that Alex intentionally didn't remind me about the dog parade and instructed all our friends not to mention it to me either...so, to get back at him I'm going to find the most redic costume for Sadie to wear next year. This is a good option right?!

Moody

Its no secret, I love a moody looking bedroom...especially ones that still feel light an airy.

 

 

This one would be pretty awful for sleeping in given the skylight right above the bed, but I love the lumbar pillow and I also kind of like the fur blanket for winter time...is that weird?  Sadie would love it and Alex approved...so maybe a similar one will make an appearance in my house some day.

The painting above the bed kind of creeps me out, but I like the idea of a dark painting and dark bedding combined with light walls, duvet and shams.
