More From the Archives

The photo dump from my phone continues...

Don't you want to spend a lazy weekend by this fire?

Love the kilm bench.

Handleless mug.

I kind of love the pale blue and tan/gold combo going on here.

Boho nursery.

Inviting.

Love this chair.

Saved this one to use as an idea for an arrangement for a similar vase I have.

Love the leather couch and the large scale black and white behind it.

Such a fun nursery.

Can't remember if I save this one for the buffet set up or the light fixture...or both.

Kate Spade initial necklace.

Love the exaggerated bow on this wreath.

More large scale black and white photography.

Hair and outfit.

I like the idea of different color upper and lower cabinets.

More fruit and muffin ideas for weekend guests.

Hummus topped with feta, bell peppers, tomatoes and cucumbers (I'm pretending like the olives aren't even there, running the whole thing).

Like the vignette, minus the top hat.

Bedding and full length mirror.

DIY

Love this simple necklace.

Think I'm going to make some of these filled with rice to use as hand warmers for all my loves.  I bought everything to do it will last year and never got around to actually doing it.

Loved this color combo.  I took a pic of a page in a magazine and the colors didn't turn out very true, but its neon pink and turquoise.

Salt dough letter ornaments.  Saved this to do this year and never got around to it...maybe next year.

Love the idea of topping a winter cake with a little bit of greenery.  Sounds like the perf excuse to bake a cake this weekend...

Holly Jolly

Here are a few Christmas inspiration pictures I've saved from Pinterest....

Is it just me or is plaid Christmas décor really in right now?  That is a trend I can really get on board with...starting with these stockings.

A friend of mine gave me a cute little chalkboard last year and I think I'm going to put this one it.  I love mistletoe, but will substitute the real thing or a bad fake for this.

So, in BMT they do a Christmas parade every year.  The first part of the parade is a dog parade.  After the show was over it came out that Alex intentionally didn't remind me about the dog parade and instructed all our friends not to mention it to me either...so, to get back at him I'm going to find the most redic costume for Sadie to wear next year. This is a good option right?!

Last One...a Few Randoms for You

I'm finally getting signed up for a real pottery class and I plan to make tons of little planter like this one.

We have these berries outside my office...I may try to stealthily steal a few to recreate this festive, simple look.

Time for a photo dump...

So, as most of you know I changed jobs a while back.  I'm loving my new job but it keeps me busy, real busy.  I'm constantly behind on Pinterest and blogs and as a result my own blog is suffering...but I'm going to try to get back into posting a little more regularly.  Here is a photo dump of all the things I've been saving to share with you...

Love this for a Christmas party invite.

1. At first I thought this was a pic of Kimberly.

2. Love that garland.  Perf for holiday festivities.

Love this stocking.

My fam needs new ones...Hardee, I might be telling my mom to request that you make some if you're willing to.

Still loving thin gold pic frames.

Baby Carhartt overalls...cold there be anything cuter?

Someday I will have a dinner party as classy as this.

These boots.

When I save them I was just lusting over them.  I was trying to decide between motorcycle boots and cowboy boots, and then I found these.  The perfect combo of both.

Then a 25% off all boots on Amazon coupon found its way to my inbox and I couldn't resist.  I talked my mom into letting them be a Christmas present but had them sent to my house to make sure I liked them and they fit.  I'm not technically allowed to wear them until Christmas, but sometimes I secretly wear them around the house when I'm by myself because I love them so much.

Randoms Round Up

This is what I want for breakfast tomorrow...toast, avocado, bacon and a poached egg.  It will probably leave me feeling like death since I recently found out I'm allergic to egg yolk, but the pain and suffering will be so worth it!

Love two elements...but I think they would work in any room, not just a nursery.

1. Green velvet drapes...I recently got new throw pillows for my couch that are a similar fabric and love them when they aren't covered in Sadie fur.

2.  The light fixture.  Want one SO badly.

I like the way this wreath is hung as opposed to using one of the cheap over the door hooks I usually use.

I could totally recreate this look with things I already have in my closet...I just don't normally think to belt tunics for some reason.

Isn't this a festive cake?  It's been all over Pinterest recently.  I don't quite get how the balloons are standing up and not falling over since they're water balloons and don't have helium in them, but oh well.

Pom Pom Holiday Decor

After pinning this pom pom tutorial I've come across all kinds of pom pom holiday decor ideas.  I think I'm going to give it a try...wish me luck!

On presents?  A perf way to add some color to my usual brown craft paper wrapping.

Different sizes and colors could make a fun fall garland!

Pinterest Picks - Holidays

Such a cute pic!

Love that the little tree has no ornaments and a dove topper made out of book pages.  Simple but pretty.

This one has ornaments but still looks very classic...as you can tell I haven't quite graduated to a full sized Christmas tree yet, but I'm working on it!

Pinterest Picks - DIY

Crape paper floral headbands - who wants to make me some of these for my birthday party next year?

Napkin rings - cute concept, I'd prob change the fabric if I actually did this myself.

Chalkboard greeting card...can be used over and over again.  I love this idea because I hate what a waste normal cards are!

Stove top Christmas potpourri.
