Is Elton John Gleeful?

Matthew Morrison managed to get Elton John into the recording studio with him, so the next sensible step would be to get the Rocket Man on Glee, right?

"We should find a spot for him to be on the show," Morrison, 32, tells PEOPLE. "That would be awesome. He's a living legend. He just brings such a great energy and a great validity to everything he does."

What sort of role does the actor, who plays Mr. Schuester, see for John?

"He should do something with Jane Lynch," Morrison says, referring to the Golden Globe-winning actress who plays Glee's no-nonsense cheerleading coach, Sue Sylvester. "I think he should maybe play her boyfriend or some kind of love interest for her. I think that would be funny."

Working on his album with new dad John, 63, was what Morrison calls "an out-of-body experience." "I didn't really believe it was actually happening," says the actor. "I actually felt like I was a bad singer because we were singing a couple of his songs, and you're so used to hearing that voice on these songs, and I'm like, 'I don't sound good on these songs.' "

Despite any insecurities on Morrison's part, the musicians' collaborations were hailed a success by John, who has already talked up the duo's time in the studio.

"It was supposed to be a secret that he was going to be on my album, but he's kind of telling everyone," Morrison says with a laugh. "So I guess we can talk about it. He's just the most loving man, and we had the best time. He was so giving and so supportive. We just had a ball."

Fans eager to hear the singers' duets will have to wait until next month's release of Morrison's album. Until then, he plans to play a free show on Jan. 29 – his first live performance in his solo career – at The Grove in L.A., as part of Oscar Mayer's Good Mood Mission.

Will Ferrell Going to Work at The Office

Steve Carell will get a proper send-off from The Office later this season, sharing his final three episodes with his Anchorman costar Will Ferrell.

Ferrell, 43, will join the NBC sitcom for a guest role in which he plays a branch manager who arrives from the home office and proves just as inept as Carell's Michael Scott, Deadline.com reports.

"We found Steve Carell when he was nothing but a movie star, and we turned him into a television star," executive producer Paul Lieberstein says. "We are proud to continue The Office's tradition of discovering famous talent, and we hope that once America gets a good look at Will, they'll see what we see: tremendous raw sexuality."

After seven seasons as the show's dunderheaded boss, Carell, 48, is leaving four episodes before this season's finale. Ferrell's guest role will include Carell's last three episodes, plus one more after his departure.

Ferrell reportedly called the producers and offered his services because he's a fan and wanted to give Carell a proper farewell.

Glee Goes Gruesome

Costumed and covered in gruesome zombie makeup, the Glee cast is hardly recognizable as they gnash their teeth and perform a jerky dance across a football field for the big Feb. 6 post-Super Bowl extravaganza.

Joined by sexy blue-haired cheerleaders, the group will take on the Michael Jackson's classic "Thriller" video as a mashup with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs's "Heads Will Roll."

The episode, at between $3 and $5 million the most expensive to date, will focus on the growing tension between the Glee club and the football team.

"You can never re-create something as incredible as 'Thriller,' " Lea Michele tells Entertainment Weekly. "We're making it our own."

Rumor Has It...

Word on the street is that Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem had a son yesterday morning...he sure looks pretty excited about it.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's Love Child

For a vampire spawn wrenched into the world through a notoriously hellish childbirth, Mackenzie Foy is really quite a sweet girl.

That's according to her onscreen grandmother Elizabeth Reaser, who plays Esme Cullen. "She lives across the hall from me in Baton Rouge, and she's a wonderful, great actress," Reaser tells MTV of the 10-year-old Twilight newcomer. "She never complains about anything. She's so professional and just a sweetheart."

Foy plays Robert Pattinson and Kristin Stewart's onscreen daughter, Renesmee, in the upcoming Breaking Dawn films. And Reaser, for one, thinks the family resemblance is uncanny.

"I think it was really well cast between Rob and Kristen. She could be their kid, you know? She looks like that," Reaser says.

In fact, for Reaser, the only downside of Foy's arrival is that she herself has to play a grandmother. At 35, she jokes, "This is far too quick!"

William Fitzsimmons - "The Tide Pulls from the Moon"

This was just released on YouTube today so I figured I share it with you too since my other song choice was excellent, but nothing new.  William Fitzsimmons is a singer songwriter and his music is very mellow.  I listen to the William Fitzsimmons radio station in the bath tube when I just want to relax.

Also...check out his sweet beard....yeeeeahhhh.

The Shore Kids Are Headed to Italy!

How do you say "gym, tan, laundry" in Italian?

The cast of Jersey Shore is heading to Italy for season 4 of MTV's hit show, the network announced Tuesday.

"While the stateside Jersey Shore locales have become iconic for our audience ... Europe is a fresh spin on a show that continues to reach new heights for us," MTV's Chris Linn said in a statement. "The cast is headed to the birthplace of the culture they love and live by. We can't wait to see what erupts as a result."

Amid their inevitable shenanigans, the gang – which in season 3 includes Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Paul "DJ Pauly D" Delvecchio, Jenni "JWOWW" Farley, Vinnie Guadagnino, Ronnie Magro, Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola – will leave "the boardwalk behind for the piazzas," "trade gorillas for Italian stallions" and, according to the statement, drop in on Vinny's Italian relatives for a famous Guadagnino family dinner.

"Ohh I Love Italy This Time A Yeahhh," Pauly D Tweeted Tuesday.

Adds Snooki: "Just heard the most amazing news!"

With a whole new country before them where they can create embarrassing moments, one thing we'd love to see is how The Situation's abs stack up compared to the classic competition of Michelangelo's statue of David, on display in Florence.

The next season is set to begin production in the spring in Europe and will air later this year, MTV says.

Surprise We're Getting Married

Start your engines. Motorcycle king Jesse James and tattoo artist Kat Von D are going to be married.

"You know sometimes the public and press gets it wrong. This is one of those times. 2010 was actually the best year of my life because I fell in love with my best friend. An amazing woman who stood behind me when the world turned their backs," James tells PEOPLE exclusively. "I have never met anyone so kind and loving and committed to making the world a better place every day. My love for her is beyond description. So honored that she said 'yes.' Growing old with her is going to be a f----n' blast!"

The pair have been dating since last summer, following the collapse of James's marriage to Oscar winner Sandra Bullock. Their divorce was finalized last June.

"There is no one else for me. He's the one," The LA Ink star tells PEOPLE.

Asked if she will move from Los Angeles to Austin, Texas, to be with her fiancé, Von D replied, "If only it were that easy. Having two places we call home will be good for now. In the end, home is where the heart is, and my heart's with him."

James, 41, and Von D, 28, have been engaged in Twitter PDA in recent weeks. On Jan. 13, James Tweeted: "They say True love will always shine through. The only reason I started Twitter again? so I could publicly profess my love for @thekatvond."

She responded: "Thank you always supporting me and believing in everything I do. But most of all, thanks for being my best friend."

Gross. Vom.

Anne Hathaway = Cat Woman?

Facebook Twitter E-mail Anne Hathaway has reason to purr: She's landed the coveted role of Catwoman in the upcoming film The Dark Knight Rises.

Hathaway, 28, will play Selina Kyle, whose other identity is Catwoman, and will join Christian Bale, who reprising his turn as Batman. Also joining the cast: Inception's Tom Hardy, who will play the villain Bane.

"I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Anne Hathaway, who will be a fantastic addition to our ensemble as we complete our story," director Christopher Nolan said in a press release, according to Deadline Hollywood, which also reports that Keira Knightley, Rachel Weisz, Blake Lively and Natalie Portman were also vying for the role.

In the meantime, Hathaway's next big role will be as co-host of the Academy Awards with James Franco.

Miranda and Orlando Had Their Baby

It is indeed a son for Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom.

Baby Flynn arrived on Jan. 6, weighing 9 lbs., 12 oz., says the model on her Kora Organics Web site on Tuesday, confirming widespread speculation. She also posts a photo of herself nursing "our beautiful little son."

"I gave birth to him naturally; without any pain medication and it was a long, arduous and difficult labour, but Orlando was with me the whole time supporting and guiding me through it. I could not have done it without him," she adds.

"We are so happy and are enjoying our time together as a family. He is our little ray of sunshine. Thank you everyone for your beautiful well wishes and your lovely thoughts."

Kerr and Bloom, 33, have been together since 2007 and married quietly in July 2010.

Sequels Are So Hot Right Now

Ben Stiller and Justin Theroux have completed the script, and it sounds like they found a way to make a sequel relevant.

It’s ten years later and most of it is set in Europe. I don’t want to give away too much, but it’s basically Derek and Hansel ten years later – though the last movie ended on a happy note a lot of things have happened in the meantime. Their lives have changed and they’re not really relevant anymore. It’s a new world for them. Will Ferrell is written into the script and he’s expressed interest in doing it. I think Mugatu is an integral part of the Zoolander story, so yes, he features in a big way.”

This brings me enormous joy.

YouTube Video of the Week - Drinking Out of Cups

I told Slim I was going to dedicate a post to her, but I decided to do a reoccuring post instead.

I always seem to have a bad case of the Mundays and funny YouTube videos always cheer me up so I've decided to share them will all of you too in case you need it.

This week's video if Drinking out of Cups.  Its a guy from either New York or Jersey who is sitting in a closet rambling while tripping on acid...then an artist came along and made an animation for the comentary.  Pretty funny and so many good one liner take aways...enjoy!

Surprise We Had a Baby!

It's a girl – and a huge surprise!

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban revealed Monday that they are the parents of a baby girl.

Faith Margaret Kidman Urban arrived Dec. 28 at The Women's Hospital at Centennial in Nashville. Faith was born through a gestational carrier and is the biological daughter of Kidman and Urban.

"Our family is truly blessed, and just so thankful, to have been given the gift of baby Faith Margaret," the family says in a statement. "No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process, in particular our gestational carrier."

Kidman and Urban, both 43, had kept the birth a secret, saying nothing about being new parents when they attended the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night.

Married in 2006, Kidman gave birth to daughter Sunday Rose in July 2008. Kidman and her ex-husband Tom Cruise also adopted two children during their marriage, Isabella and Connor.

Fug

It pains me to say this, but I have never seen Nicole Richie look more fug than she does in this pic.

What's Rob Been Up To?

It's been awhile since I reported on RPatz...so just in case you need an update on what he's been up to...here's a pic of him re-shooting scenes for Water for Elephants yesterday!

Sandra's New Do

Sandra Bullock showed up to the Globes with super thick blunt bangs...I really like them on her, but since I'm still growing my own bangs out from that time I got them cut because I thought a new look might help me win over Mumford and Sons I think I'll just admire them on her rather than copy the look myself.

Robert Goes Red

One of Hollywood’s most-watched heads of hair has undergone yet another transformation. Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson debuted a new red-tinted style at the Golden Globes on Sunday. And while reviews were generally positive, the actor, 24, while stopping short of calling it an accident, told Access Hollywood that the new shade wasn’t exactly intentional. “It’s a different color in Twilight than it is in Water for Elephants, so I had to do a rush dye job,” he explained with a laugh. So, he did it himself? “Just like some mousse,” he said. “Isn’t it amazing?”

Anne Hathaway to Guest Star on Glee

Everyone, it seems, wants to be on Glee. And Anne Hathaway soon will be – in an offbeat role she invented for herself.

"We just finalized a deal with Anne tonight to come onto the show," creator Ryan Murphy told PEOPLE on Sunday at the Golden Globe Awards, where Glee was named best comedy or musical for the second straight year.

"She's already created [her role]," Murphy said. "She wants to play the lesbian aunt of Chris Colfer. Because everyone needs a lesbian aunt."

Hathaway, 28, isn't the only star to seek a guest spot on the show. Plenty of others pitched Murphy on Sunday. "They always do," he said. "I can't even think of who. But it's so sweet. I think they support the show because it's about the arts."

Glee outdid itself at the Golden Globes in its sophomore season, as Colfer and Jane Lynch were first-time winners in the supporting actor and actress categories – further sweetening the show's repeat victory as best comedy or musical.

"Whenever you do something twice, it proves that the first time wasn't a fluke," Murphy said. "It means I dug in there and did some good work."

At the Fox afterparty, Murphy still hadn't fully celebrated with the cast, but he could barely contain his pride for what they've accomplished.

"I haven't really seen them yet, because you win and then you're whisked backstage and it's a whirlwind," he said. "But they're all right over there. I'm going to go hug them and kiss them. They're like our children. Look at them! Look at those faces! They are so young. God bless them."

Splendid

Sorry I've been such a bad blogger this week.  I promise to get my act together next week.

I don't have a baby or know many people that do, but I walked by the baby clothes section at Target yesterday and saw these:

They are from Splendid's new line for Target...you know Splendid, the same line that you can find at Anthro!  I think prices were $15 - $25...or something ridiculously reasonable like that.  Now I just need a baby shower on my social calendar so I have an excuse to buy some of this stuff.

Extreme Makeover

Whatever happened to sweet-faced, innocent Rooney Mara?

Well, she got tattooed. And pierced. And her hair dyed jet black and chopped. And handed a pack of cigarettes. All for her role in the upcoming blockbuster The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

New photos of Mara, 25, as Lisbeth Salander, the title character in Hollywood's adaptation of Stieg Larsson's best-selling novel, are set to be published in February's W magazine, on newsstands Jan. 25 – and they put to rest any doubts that Mara might not look the part.

For Mara, the transformation into a "goth Pippi Longstocking" (in the words of director David Fincher) was a sometimes painful one. "I didn't even have pierced ears," she tells W. "They put four holes in each ear, and, weirdly, that hurt the most."

For his part, Fincher praises Mara – a great-granddaughter of both Pittsburgh Steelers founder Art Rooney Sr. and New York Giants founder Tim Mara – for her work ethic.

"Rooney might be a trust-fund baby from football royalty, but she's levelheaded and hardworking," he said.

And, now, she's more than a little fierce.

What is Wrong With this Article

This is an exact People.com article word for word...what is wrong with it?  I'll give you an hint...I am absoutly disgusted by the omission of a particular band in this Best New Artist discussion:

One of Grammy's most exciting categories, this year's nominees for Best New Artist are an eclectic bunch. From rapper Drake to teen sensation Justin Bieber and the etherial sounds of Florence + the Machine – which artist made you sit up and listen?

In the first of our latest Grammy Awards polls below, tell us: Who is your favorite new artist of the bunch?

(Correct answer: Mumford and Sons...duh)

Kate Hudson is Prego!

Kate Hudson is ready to start a family with her rocker boyfriend, Matthew Bellamy, a source confirms to PEOPLE.

"They couldn't be more excited," the source says of Hudson's being pregnant. "Kate is really happy. She was always excited to have kids again at some point."

The actress, 31, who has a son, Ryder, 7, with ex-husband Chris Robinson, has been dating Bellamy, 32 – the British frontman for the rock band Muse – for about nine months.

Last summer, early in their relationship, Hudson called Bellamy "lovely," and said that the two were "just learning about each other and it's wonderful."

She added: "I do believe in love. I believe that when you really open yourself up to love, it's the most beautiful thing."

In a 2007 interview, Hudson talked about how motherhood had changed her whole outlook on life. "You realize after you have had children that you'll never love anything more than your child," she said.

Bond is Back

Daniel Craig will be back to stirring martinis soon.

The actor will reprise his role for the third time as British spy James Bond in the 23rd flick in the popular franchise, which is set for release on Nov. 9, 2012, according to reports. Production had been placed on hold while the parent studio, MGM, underwent new financing.

Craig, 42, first slipped into the iconic role with Casino Royale in 2006, then acted another day on the next one, Quantum of Solace.

Now for the burning questions: Who will the next Bond girl be – and is there any chance it'll be his alleged real-life love interest Rachel Weisz?

Stay tuned.

Another Baby for the Beckhams

The Beckham brood continues to expand!

"David and Victoria Beckham are delighted to confirm they are expecting their fourth child in the summer," their rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.

"Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz are very excited about the arrival of their new brother or sister."

With three sons ages 11, 8 and 5½, the Beckhams admitted to having a full house – but said they were willing to expand.

"I think one day, if we're blessed to have more children, it would be amazing," Victoria, 36, said when asked about additional kids with her soccer star husband. "It's a lot having three boys ... But who knows, one day?"

It appears that day has come.

I Will F-ing Attack You Like a Squirrel Monkey

When Snooki speaks, you never know what she's going to say, even if you can safely bet on a bleep or two. Such was the case on Thursday's season 3 premiere of Jersey Shore, when she entered the fray that was already underway between her costar Sammi and new roommate Deena.

Siding with Deena, who's her longtime friend, Snooki warned Sammi, "You don't want to piss off Deena like that, because even though we're tiny b––es, I don't give a s––. I will f––ing attack you like a squirrel monkey."

While squirrel monkeys (Saimiri sciureus) are not particularly aggressive, these pint-sized primates – which live in large groups of males and females in the northern forests of South America (far, far away from New Jersey) – are highly social creatures and described as gregarious. There are studies, however, that suggest with low levels of alcohol, squirrel monkeys display increased aggression. Higher doses will decrease aggressive behavior. (Remember when Snooki passed out after drinking too much on the first episode of season 1?)

The common squirrel monkey is olive-colored and white with bright orange fur on its back and limbs, though there is no evidence of tanning. And the black-capped squirrel monkey has a poof of dark fur on its head, a bit like the Jersey Shore star.

Squirrel monkeys mostly eat fruits and insects – pickles are not a part of their diet.

Etsy Finds of the Week

I've come across about a million cool Etsy shops in the last couple weeks and I'm very tempted to share all of them with you right now, but I'll try to contain myself.

Here are a few that I thought had some cool but different stuff:

1. Mariforssell - This shop has all kinds of fun iPod/iPhone/iPad cases.  I really like how slim the cases are and that you can use the leather strap to hold headphones.  These would make great groomsmen gifts!

2. Little by Jenny - Ok, I know this one is weird.  I don't know why, but I am totally obsessed with these tepees.  I think maybe they remind me of the movie the Holiday?  Who knows...but I think they would be great in a kid's room or for backyard camping.

People's Choice

When I saw this pic from the People's Choice Awards it made me want to throw something at my computer screen in the direction of Kristen Stewart's head.

But actually, she did look quite pretty last night.

Rob didn't look too bad himself, but I don't like the way their outfits kind of coordinate.

Taylor also looked stunning, I LOVE that dress.

Katy Perry's?  Not so much.

Zac What Have You Done?

Zac, this look does nothing for you, well really it does nothing for me...boo.  Please say its for a movie and your lusious locks will be making an appearance again in the near future.

Anthropologie Items of the Week

Its been so long since I did one of these post I can't even remember what the last things I featured were!  Luckily I haven't had too much to add to my wishlist the last couple weeks.

I do really like this top because its perf for work or play:

...and you may not think I NEED this dress since I already have a closet full of silky dresses, but I sure think I NEED it...I don't have a single blue dress, I swear!

Party, Party, Party

Talks are underway for Douger's 30th birthday...I'd like to propose that every one bring at least two props we can wear throughout the night and switch around with each other...props always add another level of fun to a party.

In other party news, I've decided that I want to attend a Mad Men themed party this year...who wants to throw one and invite me?

The Compound

Alex said last night that if he won the lottery he'd give us the down payment for our communal living compound...sadly, he didn't win so we will have to go on dreaming about our fantasy compound.

There have been talks of a moat to connect each residence...I'd like to propose an underground moat system similar to the one pictured above so it can still safely be used on rainy days or in the dead of winter.  I'd also like to draw your attention to the bar...our moat def needs to have a swim up bar...or 10 of them.

Say What?

No one would accuse Jersey Shore party girl Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi of setting a good example for young fans, and she makes no apologies for that.

When quizzed on Wednesday's The Ellen DeGeneres Show about her penchant for boozing the night away until she blacks out, Snooki said she had no plans to stop.

"Now, when you say if you didn't black out it's a good night for you, are you serious?" DeGeneres asks the reality star.

Snooki replies, "Yes, because I want to remember my night and sometimes I just don't. It sucks. So you're like, 'What did I do? Why did I wake up in a garbage can?' "

So people might also know that it suck to be woken up in the bushes of a friend's front yard...just saying.

Thank Goodness.

Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal are starting 2011 single.

"They're over," a source tells PEOPLE about the short-lived relationship. "It ended last month."

No reason was given for a split, and the stars reps didn't have immediate comment, but the two spent the holidays – and their birthdays – apart.

Swift, 21, rang in 2011 in Nashville, solo, at a party, while Gyllenhaal, 30, was in New York, where he attended a closing party for Broadway's Fela! on Jan. 2. While in the Big Apple, Gyllenhaal was also spotted dining with his mother at the Spotted Pig.

After spending Thanksgiving weekend together, the two were last seen publicly together on Dec. 9 in Los Angeles.

Gyllenhaal and Swift were first spotted together in October backstage at Saturday Night Live – followed by a brunch in Brooklyn.

New Couple Alert?

Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds spent New Year's Eve celebrating together in Austin, Texas – along with a posse of other pals.

"A group of old friends that included Ryan and Sandra spent New Year's together at Sandra's restaurant Bess Bistro," her rep tells PEOPLE. "They all had a great time ringing in the New Year as they have in the past ... as nothing more than friends."

Despite speculation, a source close to Reynolds, 34, echoes the sentiment that there's nothing romantic in real life between the on-screen lovebirds, who starred in The Proposal together.

Meanwhile, Scarlett Johansson, 26, Reynolds's soon-to-be ex-wife, dined at the same restaurant on Dec. 28 with her pal Drew Barrymore.

Bullock, who's friendly with both Reynolds and Johansson from their days as a couple, stopped by the table to say hello to her fellow actresses during their meal, according to an observer.
