The Wolfpack is Back

Can't wait for this to come out!

Presh.

I wish I was their friend.

Does Drew Have a New BF?

I'm a little sad because I really wanted her to have funny, quirky babies with Justin Long, but here's what People.com has to say about her romance status:

Is Drew Barrymore romancing a new guy?

The actress, 36, had a cozy lunch at celebrity favorite Joan's on Third in L.A. Monday with Will Kopelman, a 33-year-old art consultant. Then, on Wednesday, they strolled arm-in-arm as they left the E. Baldi Italian restaurant in Beverly Hills.

The pair also had a night out at the Music Box a couple weeks ago. Kopelman, the son of former Chanel CEO Arie Kopelman, attended Boston University. He's no stranger to dating actresses – he also had a romance with The Event star Sarah Roemer.

I'll admit it, he is pretty cute.

Anthropologie Items of the Week

I'll probably get the turquoise one but wear the bow more like it is on the yellow version...a little less bow-ish...and of course I'll wear it with my soon to be purchased white rail straight jeans from Madewell...probably to one of my many birthday celebrations.

I love dresses you can just throw on and look put together...this one would be perf for a braves game.

Who is This?

Haven't done one of these in a while...can you guess who the female celeb is in this picture?

Spring Wardrobe Essential

With this nice spring weather I'm ready to put away my winter wardrobe.  One of my first purchases for spring is going to be these Rail Straight white jeans from Madewell.  I have a dark blue pair and love the fit...I have the perfect thing to pair with them but you'll have to wait for the Anthro Picks of the Week tomorrow to see it.

Good Morning

This is the first pic I came across this morning...Scott Avett, in bed, with a guitar...rrrrrraaaaaaarrrrr.

Feather Earrings? Yes Please.

Gwyneth is one of my style icons, and don't judge me, but I kind of love her earrings from the Grammy's, they just scream SEXY TIME...I may go with a natural feather version though as opposed to neon pink...I also will probably not expose as much cleavage as she did when she wore them.

Jenn's New Do

Jennifer Aniston cut her hair and now I want to too...the only problem...center parts (aka butt cuts) look heinous on me.

Justin Bieber also cut his hair, but I refuse to post pics of it as I now consider him somewhat of a rival to M&S...google it if you want to see it...I wonder if this means Tom Brady is going to cut his hair now...hmmmmm.

Champagne and Gold Lollipops

Look what I found this morning:
  •  CHAMPAGNE FLAVOURED LOLLIPOP
  • CONTAINS FLAKES OF 24K REAL GOLD
  • ULTIMATE DECADENCE!
I think they might be the favor at my birthday party this year.

I sent Alex the link and just wrote 'I want one' in the subject line...

His response: What baby wants, baby gets.

Hilar.

The Vamps are Back in Canada

The cast of Twilight is once again converging on the Canadian city, this time to film the Breaking Dawn films, with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart arriving together on Monday.

The two stars flew in on the same private jet, but headed to the Sheraton Wall Center Hotel in separate cars after clearing customs.

Stewart, 20, ran to her SUV with her head covered, while Pattinson, 24, walked out calm and collected.

Three other cast members arrived Sunday night on the same flight – Mia Maestro, who plays the vampire Carmen; Myanna Buring, who plays Tanya; and Mackenzie Foy, the 10-year-old newcomer who plays the daughter of Edward and Bella Cullen.

More arrivals are expected as the week goes on.

BHLDN

I posted about this way back and patiently waited until February 14th when BHLDN was unveiled.  For those of you who have been living under a rock or those of you who may not be quite as obsessed with Anthro as I am BHLDN is their new wedding line.

I was a bit miffed at them at first...I mean what kind of name is BHLDN...surely they could have come up with something better and easier to remember right?

BHLDN stand for Beholden...that makes it a little easier to remember...and I want to beholden all of this goodness in person, but from what I can tell from scouring the Internet its only online right now....but you better believe that as soon as they have stores I will be marching my little booty down there, engaged or not to try EVERYTHING on.

Here are my pics from the website...I'll keep you posted on any new arrivals.

Vinyl = Lame

Remember this Kooba bag I posted about a while back...well I was about to order it when I read the description a little closer.  Its made out of a vinyl like material.  Really Kooba?  Vinyl? Lame.

Here is my newest discovery...its leather, not vinyl...I just don't know which color to go with.

Added to my wishlist...

I went to Urban Outfitters the other day in search of the perfect bathing suit...I found it, but it ain't cheap...only $129 PER PIECE.  Don't think that I won't be checking everyday to see when it goes on sale and ordering it immediately when it does.

I Hate to Admit it, But its Kind of True.

I was deeply upset to hear people who were not familiar with Mumford and Sons before the Grammys comparing the way Marcus looks to Tim Tebow

But its kind of true, only Tim is terrible and Marcus is not.

Hoagies and Grinders, Hoagies and Grinders, MEATBALL SANDWICH

Smitten Kitchen is a fab food website...if you don't beleive me, just ask Gwenyth Paltrow, she's the one who told me about it...for real.

The other day they featured a meatball sandwich and I think it sounds delish so I'm sharing it with you too!

Meatball Subs with Caramelized Onions and Gruyère

(Meatball recipe adapted generously from Ina Garten)

Yields about 24 to 28 2-inch meatballs or one colossal meatball sub. I’d estimate two meatballs per person, perhaps less if you’re putting out a lot of other food.

How much bread will you need? If you make 2-inch meatballs, as I suggest below, estimate 2 inches of length in your roll for each meatball, so you’ll want 48 inches of sandwich roll altogether. The “Italian seeded demi-baguette” (as Fresh Direct called it) I show above is 9 inches but tapers at the ends, so it fit 4 meatballs. I would have needed 8 of them for the whole batch of meatballs, and also a swarm of hungry folks.

Meatballs
The baguettes or seeded sandwich rolls you’ll use for your sandwiches (see Note above for how to estimate)
2 pound ground meat of your choice (I used pork but have in the past used beef, veal, chicken, turkey or a blend thereof)
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1/3 cup finely grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
3/4 teaspoon salt
Pinch of red pepper flakes
2 small garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 large egg
Olive oil
4 cups prepared tomato sauce (plus extra if you like a lot of extra sauce)

Caramelized onions
2 large yellow onions, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt

2 cups coarsely shredded Gruyère

Assembly
Make the meatballs: Split your rolls almost the whole way through, leaving one side attached. Scoop out some of the roll to create a channel for the meatballs to rest in. Grind the bread you pulled out in a food processor or tear it into minuscule bits. You will need 1 1/3 cups or 2 3/4 ounces of fresh breadcrumbs for the meatballs. If you’re not making subs, you can get this same amount of breadcrumbs from 2 to 3 sandwich bread slices. Set rolls aside until later.

Place the fresh breadcrumbs in a large bowl with 3/4 cup warm water and all of the meatball ingredients except for the olive oil and tomato sauce. Combine with a fork, breaking up clumps of meat until the ingredients are evenly distributed. Form mixture into 2-inch meatballs are arrange on a tray. I find wet hands make it easier to form meatballs without them sticking too much.

Heat a generous slick of oil (few tablespoons) in a large saute pan with a lid. Brown meatballs in batches, being careful not to crowd the pan or nudge them before they are nicely browned or they will stick and you’ll leave delicious meatball bits in the pan. These meatballs are soft, so use a gentle hand. Transfer meatballs to a paper towel-lined tray and continue until they are all browned.

Discard the oil and heat your tomato sauce in the pan. Add the meatballs, cover the pan and simmer them on the lowest heat possible for 25 to 30 minutes, until the meatballs are cooked through.

Caramelize onions: While the meatballs are simmering, you can cook the onions. Heat the olive oil and butter in a heavy large skillet over medium-low heat. Add onion, sprinkle with salt and a little pepper and cook until they’re tender, sweet, and a deep golden brown, stirring occasionally. This takes me about 30 minutes.

Assemble subs: Arrange meatballs with sauce in the hollowed-out roll(s). Drape caramelized onions over the top and sprinkle with shredded cheese. Place subs under a broiler or in an oven at top heat to melt the cheese.

Mumford & Sons at the Britt Awards.

Yep.  I still love them.

Etsy Finds of the Week

How cute are these?  I have lots of baby showers to go to this spring and I think I'll be buying bunches and bunches of these.

A new breed of children’s clothing has been born. Adorable and functional My Biby Tee is both tee shirt and bib; all you have to do is grab one of the floppy ears and dab baby’s drool away, the animal is made of complete terry cloth. It eliminates the need for kids still in their drooling phase to have to wear a bib all day; plus little ones will love to grab the ears to rub against their gums when they are teething. Created by a mother of two who found with her second she got to the point where she was using her shirt or her daughter's to keep her little one’s face dry.

Buy here.

This Makes Me Happy.

Why Wasn't I Invited?

This dance party looks like it was so much fun.  Why wasn't I invited, do you think that'd be something I'd like to know about too?

I'm volunteering myself to bring the confetti for the late night dance party that's going to happen at Doug's birthday bonanza this weekend.

My Valentine Sure Does Know How to Treat Me Right

Just thought you all should know about a few of the highlights from my stellar v-day.

The celebration began with these: mini corn dog bites and potato skins.

Next I got to sip on some champ in a mason jar.

We capped off the night with dollar hot dogs at the bowling alley.

I feel like such a lucky girl today.

Pics of the Day

I came across these gems this moring while catching up on my blog reading.

They both just really spoke to me...no idea why...I think I'm just in a weird mood today.

The Uterus Dress and Other Gross Moments from the Grammy's

The most upsetting thing about watching the Grammy's was not having to see Mumford and Sons loose the award for Best New Artists, but that's mostly because someone I've neaver heard of won and not Justin Bieber...no the worst part of the evening was when Alex said "Ohhhh, who's that.  Uuuhhhh." and upon closer inspection I discovered it was Miley Cyrus.  Gross.

Here she is looking like her hooker self at a Grammy pre-party.  Fail.  I think she must have been trying to show off her ute (an abrev for uterus for those who aren't well versed in Kenworthy lingo).

Bootie Bootie Bootie Bootie Rocking Everywhere

I've been on a shoe kick recently here are some of my finds:

I'm holding off on buying these for now, I think they are super cute but this purchase would probably be like the time I thought I just had to have some pink rain boots from J.Crew...they are still in the bag they came in...if you want them you can have them fo free.

My mocs are pretty worn out and I'm digging these Minitonkas as a possible replacement.

These gray ankle booties are mine all mine...I've been waiting for them to go on clearance at Piperlime and the finally did.  I know cowboy ankle boots came in style last year and prob went out of style a month later but I don't care, I'm still going to rock them.

Mine all mine too...I know you're so jealous.  Before you begin to question my tastes let me just inform you that these are bowling shoes and they are  far more attractive than some of my other options.

M.I.A.

Sorry I've been such a lame blogger recently y'all...just wanted to give you guys a heads up that I'll be traveling all week so posts could be few and far between...hopefully I'll be able to get back on track next week!

Sing It Bob

Katrina always says they don't let Bob sing enough...here's a song he does the main vocal for.  If I had to pick a song to help lull me to sleep this would be it (listen to the album version on Four Thieves Gone its much more soothing), in fact I'm 99% sure the person filming this falls a sleep at several points throughout the song but since its not one of their most popular songs I didn't have many videos to choose from.

I Heart It

I'm blogging up a storm!!!

Now normally I'm not a huge fan of Valentine's day, but I'm pretty impressed by this cake.

Go here for the recipe and instructions on how to make it.

I Love Log

I love a DIY project and I think this table is really cool.  I think it could work with just about any decor style to bring an element of nature into your home.  Sorry about the cat and the fuzzy chair in the pic, they really take away from the awesomeness of the side table.

If you want to make one for your own home just click here for the full tutorial.

Anthropologie Items of the Week

Hello...is it me you're looking for?  Did you think I was dead?

Wrong.

I've just been a very busy worker bee and the celebs haven't been up to anything interesting, or at least not the ones worth reporting about.

Anthropologie has been a bit of a let down for me this week.  I did go get the red blouse (not the one with the stripes, but if they would have had it in the store I prob would have bought it too) I featured last week for a very special dinner tomorrow night and words can not express how much I love it.

Here is the only new arrival that caught my eye this week:

I saw a girl wearing a similar pair a few months ago an promptly scoured the Internet looking for a pair for myself but sadly my search was unsuccessful.  I should have know Anthro would come to my rescue like they always do.  They're on my wish list if any of you want to buy them for me for my birthday (hint hint).  Pretty please?  They're only $28 and only available online.

Since that wasn't a whole lot of good material I'm including a bonus jonas.

Look what I found at Madewell:

This pic doesn't really do this dress justice, but let me tell you, it is mighty fab.  Its silky, stripey, and BOTH flattering and comfortable on.  I tried it on the other day and am HEAD.OVER.HEELS in love with it...so much so I'm 99% sure its what I'll be wearing to one of my 25th birthday celebrations this year.  The down side is that its $138 so you better believe I'll be checking every day to see if it goes on sale and notifying you immediately when it does.

These shorts blow my mind.  I'm not normally a huge fan of shorts mostly because they don't come in relaxed cuts...but the idea of wearing these is pure bliss to me.  If you can't tell by the pic they're silky.  You could wear them with tights and heels or boots when its cold out or with a breezy tee/tank in the summer time.  LOVE.
