I Will F-ing Attack You Like a Squirrel Monkey

When Snooki speaks, you never know what she's going to say, even if you can safely bet on a bleep or two. Such was the case on Thursday's season 3 premiere of Jersey Shore, when she entered the fray that was already underway between her costar Sammi and new roommate Deena.

Siding with Deena, who's her longtime friend, Snooki warned Sammi, "You don't want to piss off Deena like that, because even though we're tiny b––es, I don't give a s––. I will f––ing attack you like a squirrel monkey."

While squirrel monkeys (Saimiri sciureus) are not particularly aggressive, these pint-sized primates – which live in large groups of males and females in the northern forests of South America (far, far away from New Jersey) – are highly social creatures and described as gregarious. There are studies, however, that suggest with low levels of alcohol, squirrel monkeys display increased aggression. Higher doses will decrease aggressive behavior. (Remember when Snooki passed out after drinking too much on the first episode of season 1?)

The common squirrel monkey is olive-colored and white with bright orange fur on its back and limbs, though there is no evidence of tanning. And the black-capped squirrel monkey has a poof of dark fur on its head, a bit like the Jersey Shore star.

Squirrel monkeys mostly eat fruits and insects – pickles are not a part of their diet.
