Friday Eye Candy
Edward will forever be my favorite Cullen, but if Kellan Lutz keeps taking modeling pics like this he might just give Rob a run for his money.

Anthropologie Items of the Week
I was just about to head home when I realized I never posted these...whoops.
I need some of these colorful mugs for drinking Hot Whiskey with Alex this winter...I'll post the recipe when its more weather appropriate, but trust me, its delish.
I'm still undecided about these sleeves (need to see in person) but I think this shirt would look super cute with dark skinny jeans. Am I right or am I right?

New Year's Eve
Another movie about a holiday with a million different celebs in it...I bet it will be as predictable and disappointing as Valentine's Day.

Totally Inspired
I've kind of been wanting a long skirt for a while and when I say this one I knew I had to have one. This outfit is so effortlessly chic...and it would totally work for a date or for running errands or for just about any other occasion. I love the paper bag waist and the belt...and the idea of just throwing it all on with a simple black tank and walking out the door...dreamy. I also love that its pink but not too sweet or girly.
Fun.
This pic was in an email from Anthropologie...it caught my eye because of the bright colors and bold patterns...but upon closer examination I noticed dice and dominoes and poker chips...and it made me realize that even though I might be a tiny bit OCD when it comes to keeping my house clean and putting everything in its place I totally want a house that is just fun and has random game pieces scattered about because fun is what life is really all about right?

No. Just No.
Seriously Rob, what have you done to your hair? I really hope its for a movie role and not because you're just a weirdo.

Honeymooners
Its been four months since their wedding, but Reese Witherspoon and her new husband Jim Toth are finally happy honeymooners. How cute is her outfit (love the scarf and shoes) this pic of the happy couple?
Follow Joe!
I just started following Joe Kwon's blog. It has pics like this:
and this...
and this...
which all make me happy!

Don't Sweat It
I saw this sweatshirt on Urban Grace this morning and fell in love.
Then I went to the website and found this one ON SALE!
Is July too early to start my Christmas list?
Anthropologie Items of the Week
I came across this pic on the Anthropologie home page and immediately thought of Mrs. Belknap.
I added this shirt to my wishlist to monitor for her.
I'm crazy in love with these towels, especially the orange one...I think I could design a whole bathroom around them. They made me realize I might be over the super girly floral shower curtain I just had to have when I first moved in.
Also, in my fantasy world I drive a Jeep Wagoneer just like the one pictured. Can't you imagine how totally cool I look cruising around fantasy world in it?
I Die For The New J.Crew Fall Collection
I usually dismiss any emails I get from J.Crew...a lot of times their collections just aren't me. I got an email today about their new fall collection and I don't know if its the fact that it made me feel like fall is right around the corner or that I'm in desperate need of new work clothes and I still get the itch to do "back to school" shopping in August/September.
Here are my pick but go check the new arrivals out yourself!
Love. Shirt dresses are so versatile...I'd get the one in Gatsby Green because this one would prob be the same color as my hair and skin on. I also kind of want a pair of big glasses like that...would that be weird seeing as I have 20/20 vision?
So cute and there's even an exposed zipper in the back!
I kind of love paper bag waisted skirts...you can wear them high without looking like your straight out of the 70's. It comes in several other colors...I might have to get more than one!
I like the sheer sleeves and I'd get this one in the gray color and wear it with black tights when it gets really cold out.
I could have a lot of fun making tons of outfits around this skirt.
Effortlessly chic...I couldn't find that necklace but I want NEED it too!
I've always wanted a pair of menswear inspired PJ's!
I die for this necklace.
...and last but not least of course I'll need a new iPhone cover so my phone looks as chic as the rest of me!

If You Like This You Might Also Like...
As most of you know I make wishlists of stores I frequent to keep track of items I have my eye on...that way the second they go on sale I know about it without having to look through the entire website!
Alex picked out this watch a while back and my fingers were crossed that it would go on sale before his birthday, but sadly it didn't. I'm still keeping my eye on it though because I really like it and its never to early to start Christmas shopping!
Today when I checked on it the sweet people at J.Crew told me that if I like that watch I'd prob also like this iPad cover and they were right, I do! If Alex ever gets and iPad I'm def getting this cover for him!
Rustic, durable and chic...plus I love the pop of orange on the inside.
Bravo, well done J.Crew!
Home
Another sweet music vid for you on this delightful Friday morning!
They played this one when they came to the Fox in Atlanta and of course I immediately loved it!
I picked this particular video because it has great sound quality...the picture montage is an added bonus for all my lucky blog readers!
Seeing Red
Remember this red purse I ordered from Gilt? I got it and I love it!
The color is so vibrant and now I
Bronx Shoes as seen on Shoes.com...and they're super cheap too!
Dolce Vita as seen on Shoes.com...a little more expensive but still reasonable.
Kate Spade as seen on Zappos.com...on sale now for a mere $200...these are totally fab but I'm going to hold out and see if they go on sale even more.
I think my sudden interest in all things red might have to go with the fact that we're getting closer and closer to the start of football season...
GOOOOOOOOOOOO DAWGS, SICK EM!
Madewell Items of the Week
Love the versatility of this silk blouse...plus it has a rounded hem which I totally love. Also comes in red, green and blush.
Casual but the buttons on the sleeve add a bit of interest. Also comes in red, black, blue and white I believe.

Altnropologie Items of the Week
Picking blue as my color of the year has totally revolutionized my world. I'm even loving blue for home decor which I never have before! I love these hurricanes and votive holders...especially the blue on the far left!
Everyone needs a pair of turquoise earrings and I happen to love turquoise earrings in a teardrop shape so these are totally brill to me!

Do or Don't: Colored Jeans
I'm kind of digging colored skinny jeans (specifically red and green) but I'm pretty sure they'll be something I'll look back on and say "What was I thinking?"
What are your thoughts on colored skinny jeans, are they a do or a don't?
Dakota's New Do
Dakota Fanning debuted a new look in London this week—a super short pixie. The 17-year-old actress is currently filming Now Is Good, in which she plays a teen with leukemia who makes a list of things she wants to do before the disease takes her. It could possibly be a wig, but it looks like a close enough crop to be real.

This Pic Makes Me Want To...
This picture of Blake Lively at the BAFTA gala makes me want to:
1. Get tan
2. Get skinny
3. Get some hilights
Communion presents The Flowerpot Sessions
Communion took over The Flowerpot pub in Kentish town for a week in July 2010 and invited over 30 bands and artists to come along to collaborate, write and perform together. Everything was recorded and filmed and the result is this fabulous collection of songs performed by some of our favourite artists.
FYI:
1. Ben Lovett from M&S is one of the co-founders of Communion.
2. Lissie is featured in this video!
3. I don't see the CD on iTunes, but you can buy it here: http://www.communionmusic.co.uk/shop/
Laura Marling's New CD
Laura Marling has a new CD coming out this September...I'm super excited about it because I think its going to be dark and twisty seeing as it was written while she was breaking up with Marcus Mumford who left her for that little hussy Carrie Mulligan (I know this to be true because I saw her back stage at his concert in Atlanta with my own two eyes).

Fab Find Friday
I get daily emails from a website called Refinery 29...it has all kinds of fashion and beauty articles that just take a quick minute to click through. This week they had an article on drug store beauty products that are just as good as the expensive stuff you'd find at places like Sephora which is great because I'm in desperate need of some new make up. Here are the things from the article I was most excited about...I'll probably go pick them up on my lunch break!
These four-in-one eyeshadow palettes prove that high-quality shadows don't have to be high-priced. Plus, Kashuk's metallic shades go on shimmery, instead of overly glittery or sparkly, making them super versatile and wearable for all occasions.
Sonia Kashuk Eye Quads, $12.99, available at Target.
It's true—great brushes mean great makeup application. But a pro set can bust your budget. So, if you're looking for the basic necessities, go for EcoTools: a large powder brush, an eyeshadow brush, a brush for smudging and blending, and a fluffy kabuki for blush or bronzer. The brand's cruelty-free bristles are made of super-soft synthetic taklon and the brushes are crafted out of recycled aluminum and bamboo handles.
EcoTools Makeup Brushes, $3.99-$12.49 for a set, available at Walgreens.
With super-powered frizz-taming properties, this treatment also brings life back to damaged hair, boosts shine, and its price-tag won't break the bank.
Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Penetrating Oil, $7.99, available at Ulta.

Etsy Finds
Its been awhile since I did one of these posts...I haven't had a whole lot of time to explore Etsy recently. A painting on the Rock Paper Scissors blog caught my eye today and now I'm totally dying for a copy of this print!
There are tons of cool abstract painting in this store, but the color combo in this one was by far my fav...I love that it looks like there is so much texture even though its a print!
I'm Gilty
I subscribe to about a million of those flash sale website...usually its either nothing that interest me or still way out of my price range...plus since they only have a limited quantity and the sale only last for a short amount of time I always feel like it just encourages impulse buying which I try to steer clear of...today all that changed.
Ever since I first laid eyes on Hardee's Foley and Corinna weekend tote I've been in love with the brand. This love was strengthened seeing Kara's bag and recently seeing Hardee's new anniversary present.
I've also been dying for a brightly colored bag since Katrina got her neon orange cross body bag.
So when I saw this for literally a steal price on Gilt I just couldn't pass it up. I mean red goes with everything right? And unlike the tiny little Marc by Marc Jacobs bag I paid twice as much for this one is actually roomie which means when Alex gives me the contents of his pockets to try to stuff into my purse it will actually fit! There, justified. Hooray!

Must Have Dress
This Madewell model does nothing for this dress, but beleive me when I say it looks beyond fab on...and the best part...it just went on sale so go get it for yourselves because it will be perf for fall weddings and all the super romantic dates I'm sure Alex will take me on!
Anthropologie Items of the Week
Don't you think this dress would be perf for me to wear to the Georgia/Ole Miss game this fall? I think it would look extra cute with a skinny brown belt!
I picture both of these tanks with cardigans, skinny jeans and flats...hurry up fall weather!
