That was fast, but does it really surprise you?

Anthropologie Items of the Week
Doesn't this look cozy? It comes in several other colors including gray for those of you who shy away from color.
I saw this dress in the store before it was online...this picture doesn't really do it justice so I included a pic on a model. I don't have a model figure, but I still love the dress.

Pinterest Picks
A few more Pinterest finds for you...
These sockets are such a great idea...they actually turn off all power when not in use where as most plugs still draw power when they are plugged in but not in use. There is also a power strip with the same concept so you could plug all your TV/DVD/entertainment electric devices into it.
I think this is such a cute way of keeping track of kid's height...so much better than just pencil on a random wall in your house.
I think these are a fun idea for coasters. Alex's brewery is going to have these if that whole idea ever comes to fruition.
Buying for Baby Belknap
I wanted to make sure it was ok for me to blog about Baby Belknap, but now that I have the go ahead I can share a few things I've been saving.
I hate to ruin surprises, but I'm pretty sure I absolutely must buy this portable high chair for Baby Beklnap.
These moustache pacifiers are a must too.
...and finally, when as time out ever looked so cute?

Pinterest Picks
Here are a few things I've pinned recently:
I think I'll use river rocks on the bottom of my outdoor shower someday
Plants in wine boxes...Alex says they would warp and come apart at the corners, but I think its worth trying on herbs in a raised garden.
Chalkboard paint on terracotta.
Nude Nails?
I've always been one to get super bright colors whenever I get a pedicure, but I'm thinking about going nude for Brooke's wedding this weekend.

Don't You Kind of Love this Outfit?
I do.
It makes me wish my new moccasins had a little beaded design on them.
It also makes me want a graphic printed scarf...all mine have slightly floral designs and pinks and purples in them and I'm so over that look right now!
Madewell Spring 2012
Does this get anyone else excited about shopping at Madewell this spring? I hope every single one of my birthday presents come in Madewell gift boxes!
Cute Nursery Prints
I am 99% sure my firstborn son will be named Noah. Obviously my nursery would have to have a Noah's Arc theme and these would be the perfect addition to the room's decor.
I'm sharing the wealth posting where you can purchase the prints (here) but know that if you steal my baby name I will cut you.
Anthropologie Items of the Week
This clutch has been right under my nose on the Anthropologie website for who knows how long, but it took Pinterest to finally bring it to my attention. I. Love. It. So much.
Quill cheese knives...would make a great hostess gift for you to bring to me.

Dream TREE House
I showed these pics to Alex and asked if he'd make me a tree house like this some day. He just laughed at me. But seriously, is it not the coolest tree house ever? Make sure you look at that deck below the actual house...that just might be my favorite part!
Mad LIb RSVP
This is a pinterest find I'm sharing for all you non-Pinterest users because I thought it was that genius.
Its a mad lib RSVP card...haven't you ever been perplexed about what to write on an RSVP card? Problem solved. Plus it would be hilar to be the bride/groom who got these back!
Appliance Cabinet
I'm super weird about having too much stuff on my counter tops...my toaster, blender, and every other appliance I have all live in my kitchen cabinets since I don't use them every day or even on a regular basis.
Alex just got a coffee pot to keep at my house and knew it would freak me out keeping it out, but we compromised on a place it could live (on the counter top, but right in front of a plug...I'm also weird about cords showing).
Anyways, this would pretty much solve all my problems because the appliance would be easily accessible but they along with their cords could also be easily hidden.
This is def getting added to my dream home idea book!

Fab Find Friday
I finally took the plunge and joined Pinterest. Alex's mom was asking about it and I figured that if she knows about it then I better hurry up and get on the band wagon.
Nina was sweet enough to give me a quick run down and then I DID IT.
I'm still trying to get the whole thing figured out...but its pretty cool. I'm def going to have to limit my time spent pinning things!
What does this mean for you? Maybe a few less posts for the next couple days but then a WHOLE LOT MORE since I'll have access to way more inspiration for blog posts!
HORRAY FOR PINTEREST!

Anthropologie Items of the Week
Apparently this week it all about earrings...
I've been looking for a pair of gold hoops that aren't too heavy for quite awhile now...I like that these are big and thin but also a little distressed with a hammered look.
I also thought about getting some pyramid studs not too long ago...the ones I was considering were sold gold, but it never hurts to add a bit of sparkle right? Subtle but also a little edgy.
Ever since I saw Gwyneth on some award show singing with Cee lo Green wearing huge feather earrings I've wanted a pair...but I still can't decide if its really something I want to commit to.
Of course I love that these are teardrop shaped and huge...but I just don't know how I feel about sequins sewn onto fabric...it would make it lighter than a solid metal earring, which is a good thing, but I think I need to see these in person before I decide for sure!

Pippa is Such A Hipster?
US magazine claims that Pippa Middleton is dressed "like a hipster" in this picture...clearly they don't know what hipsters really dress like!
Short and Sweet
Don't read into this post too much...I'm not planning to get married any time soon...I just run across pictures and get inspired every now and again.
Today I was looking at some blog and it made me think how fun it would be to wear a short wedding dress. I've never wanted a super formal wedding so it might actually work for me someday. The older I get the less I can imagine a traditional bridal gown on myself.
I like this 3/4 length sleeved shift style best because its a modern and sophisticated take on a retro classic. I think something with too full of a skirt might look too sweet or juvenile for me personally.
The one above is Diane von Furstenberg...its been worn in other colors by the likes of Brooklyn Decker and Lauren Conrad...it has an exposed zipper in the back which makes me like it even more...the only problem is that it might hug some of my curves a little too closely.
This one by Tibi doesn't look quite so tight. Both of these dresses could be worn with a simple elbow length veil and some killer pumps in either nude or gold.
This one is way more casual since there isn't any lace detailing, but I think that means you could wear it with a lace trimmed veil. Its Rag and Bone and you can't see from the pic but there are some pockets on the front that I don't totally dig...mostly I just like the simple shape/cut of this dress.
Is Her Eggo Preggo?
Its a bit hard to tell from this pic, but it kind of looks like she might be! I think this might be one of the worst things about being a celeb...you gain a few pounds and all of the sudden everyone thinks your pregnant. Talk about a blow to the self esteem!
Is Her Eggo Really Preggo?
The buzz started after photos and videos hit the Web that appeared to show her bulging mid-section to collapse as she sat down during the Australian talk show Sunday Night HD, suggesting she had a prosthetic stomach and that a surrogate was carrying her child.

Design Inspiration
In the top picture I love that they used dressers as nightstands...if you have room in your bedroom I think this is a great idea because that means your nightstands are actually functional too! I also like the upholstered headboard and bench at the foot of the bed...hopefully some day my room will have all of these elements!
I love how bright and airy this kitchen is...you'd have to have a long room to do this in though so you'd have plenty of cabinet space since there are no upper cabinets!
Don't Be Tardy for the Party
I really, really really want to have or go to a 60's/Mad Mad Men party...who's with me.
The dress in this picture is Rag and Bone and the shoes and earrings are Kate Spade.
I also think this look would be super cute for a rehearsal dinner!

African Baskets
While browsing through the Serena and Lily catalogue the other day I also came across these. I love the idea of using one of these as a clothes hamper...or a place to strore blankes, or dog toys or maybe even baby toys.
They aren't exactly cheap, but I still love them. Below are some other similar options I found on Amazon.
Don't you think I need one? They would make any decor look more eclectic!
Fab Find Friday
I have a treat for you...literally. My mom gave me some of these coco roasted almonds and I am obsessed. They satisfy my sweet cravings without being overly sweet and are def a healthy alternative to a bag of M&M. Go buy some for yourself, I promise you won't be disappointed!
