Etsy Find
While I'm on the subject of Etsy finds I want to share these bracelets with you.
They come in all sorts of leather and metal combos. I thought the tan leather with gold would be very versatile but I also think I would wear the gold on gold a lot. I'm even feeling bold enough to ask for my own color combo. Gray leather with gold metal. Don't you think that would just be the bee's knees?
Fab Find Friday
I know, I know...its not Friday. I meant to post this before I headed home for the weekend and it completely slipped my mind. So here it is. I came across this picture on Pinterest a while back and loved the combo of the wood wick candle with the rustic wood trivet.
Well low and behold, I came across the picture again...this time it was a link to the Etsy store where the candles were sold (its called Luminology...check it out). I just happened to notice that the shop was located in...Iowa. Which made me like it even more. AND, once the candle burns down you can use the container as a bowl. Bonus!
So...I emailed the shop owner to see if she would tell me where she got the trivet. I assumed it was some fab home decor store. She said she actually got it at a flea market a long time ago. I did some web browsing and these are the two closest options I found.

Anthropologie Items of the Week
This top has all my fav characteristics.
I'm also digging these tanks. I feel like I always say I'd pair tops with dark skinnys so I'm going to go out on a limb here and say I'd pair both of these with distressed medium wash boyfriend jeans just to toughen them up a little bit.
I'm not in the market for new bedding, but if I were I'd consider this duvet due to my affinity to all things polka dot. Maybe they'll have it in a dark gray by the time I need new bedding. I feel like walking into a bedroom with a bright red duvet would be like whoa even for someone like me who loves bright colors.
I do have one more Anthropologie item for this week, but I'm saving it for tomorrow to go along with a Fab Find Friday post!

Inspiration
So yesterday was the first time in over a month that I was actually able to log into Pinterest from my computer. I had to create a new account and repin all 628 of my pins...well actually only 526 made the cut but still, it was quite a bit of work. Sorry if I blew up your Pinterest feed yesterday!

Pinterest Picks
So...something disasterous has happened to me. Over Christmas break everything I pinned on Pinterest started popping up on Facebook so I tried changing some settings to make that stop happening...what I really did was unlink the two accounts so now I can't log into Pinterest on a computer and thus I can't pin all the cool things I come across on the internet.
That's mostly why there haven't been any Pinterest Picks posts recently. Here's all the stuff I would be pinning today if I could...

This is a great shot of a couple leaving their wedding/reception...I doubt I'll be peacing out in a bug, but you get the picture none the less.

Decorating with Arrows

Scrap Bunting
Hardee...I found another use for all your quilt scraps! This is pretty much no-sew bunting to me and still looks equally as festive. I'm def coming over to your house sometime soon to steal some scraps from you!
Cat Eyed Sunnies
I actually know this girl, I went to college with her and she's from the same area I grew up in. If she can pull off cat eyed sunnies so can I (remember I posted about wanting a pair a while back).
I think I'll check out Urban some time this week to see if they have a pair I like. I'd expect them to carry a cheap version of this style and I'm not ready to commit to a good pair just yet.
Party Flatware
Came across this on a blog this morning and thought it was such a fun way to add some color to party flatware. You could do random colors for a birthday celebration, school colors for a game day party or holiday colors.
I also really like the idea of wooden flatware instead of the plastic stuff and took the liberty of tracking down some reasonable priced utensils in case you'd also like to buy them. I suggest getting them from here.

Ikea Surprise!
I've kind of been wanting a coat rack but most of them are just so tacky. I came across this picture today and immediately fell in love. I figured a. I'd never be able to track it down or b. given the fancy surroundings and trendy clothes it was probably super expensive.
After a quite a bit of Internet researching I'm almost 100% sure it's actually the TURBO coat rack from Ikea whis is onlt %44! What a surprise. It may be my first ever Ikea purchase.
While doing my research I also came across this option which I kind of love too, but you'd have to have the right wall space, right style and right house to pull it off.
Mason Jar Mania
I've recently become obsessed with Mason Jars. I came across this today and just had to share it with you. It inspired me to tell you about all my other fav mason jars too!
Quilted Jam Jars (found on Amazon) the 12 oz size has become my "stemless wine glass" and the 8 oz size is Alex's highball/whiskey glass. We also use an 8 oz jar in the bathroom to hold q-tips and I want to use a 12 oz jar as a toothbrush holder.
This is my newest find (also from Amazon). Place on a plate surrounded by chips or crackers and serve dip in it when entertaining. Dip left at the end of the night? Just screw the lid back on and put it in the fridge! Ball makes a similar style for a bit less mullah, but these are so pppprrrreeeettttyyyyyyyyyyyy.
Love this Look
Mostly I just love that scarf...especially the tassels on the scarf...but of course I think you can't go wrong with a tunic style sweater (although I'm pretty sure I'd steer clear of ones with fuzzy textures) or dark jeans or tan boots.
Things of Importance in this Picture...
1. William obvi got Kate a puppy for her 30th birthday. Lucky.
2. I recently told Alex he was not allowed to buy a similar hat because I didn't think anyone could successfully pull off that style. I was wrong William can, but I still think that muggles CAN NOT.
3. Nina has the same boots as Kate...I may start calling her Princess or Duchess Nina.

Alex just informed me that King Charles released an EP on the US iTunes store and that he already bought it for me. If that isn't love I don't know what is.

DIY Dyed Beads
These are from a new online magazine called Reverie.
It shows you how to dye wooden beads to use for napkin rings or gift tags...you could also make Christmas garlands or necklaces...this might me my next rainy day project!

Party Numbers
I think I'm going to attempt to make a set of these this year. My goal is to the the 3 and the 0 in 2013 done in time to start celebrating the birthdays of all my friends who will be turning 30 this year. If its a flop oh well. If its a success I'll already be half way done with my project WAY before next New Years!

This may come as quite a shocker to those of you who thought they broke up last year...but apparently they rekindled their romance over the fall and decided it was high time they got hitched!
Jacket Love
I am seriously in love with this coat. It makes me feel like someone who is cool enough to work at the Madewell headquarters in New York when I have it on (I tried it on at the store during my lunch break and left it on as I perused the store).
It is super warm and soft. The fur is detachable which was a relief to me since I'm not usually a fur girl, but truth be told I kind of liked it. Finally its long...so your booty will stay nice an toasty in this jacket!
